Unlocking the "Horizon Decades" Event and Seasonal Progress

The "Horizon Decades" series in Forza Horizon 6 kicked off on June 18th and will conclude on July 16th. To access the seasonal activities, players must possess at least the yellow wristband. The series is structured into four distinct seasons, beginning with summer, each featuring a variety of seasonal challenges, events, online competitions, and series events. Accumulating points from these activities allows players to unlock prestigious vehicles throughout the event. For 80 points, players can acquire the 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau, and for 160 points, the 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430.

Summer Season Playlist: Weekly Rewards and Challenges

During the inaugural week of the "Horizon Decades" summer season, players have the opportunity to earn additional rewards. By achieving 15 points, the 1989 Volkswagen Rallye Golf becomes available, and reaching 30 points unlocks the iconic 1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV. These rewards encourage active participation in the diverse range of challenges presented each week.

Engaging in Weekly Seasonal Objectives

The weekly seasonal challenges within the "Horizon Decades" playlist consist of multi-step missions, often centered around a specific vehicle, a photo opportunity, and a treasure hunt. To claim the weekly reward, all four steps of the challenge must be successfully completed. For instance, one weekly challenge involves using the 1982 DeLorean DMC-12, requiring players to drive it, maintain a speed of 88 mph for 10 seconds, capture a photo of the car, and win a road race with it, earning 25,000 credits and 5 points. A photo challenge involves capturing a picture of any 1980s car drifting, rewarding a quick chat message and 2 points. The treasure hunt in the Nangan Region, guided by a photo clue, offers 100,000 credits and 3 points.

Participating in Daily Seasonal Tasks

New daily seasonal challenges are introduced each day, with a limited window for completion. These challenges typically offer 5,000 credits and 1 point upon success. Examples include parking a 1980s car at the Evolving World Car Meet, completing a Head-To-Head in The Eliminator, taking a photo in a 1980s Ford at the Temple of Nachi Falls, sending a Gift Drop to another player, winning a race at Shimanoyama Circuit in a 1980s car, beating a Rivals Ghost in a 1980s vehicle, and reaching 150 mph in any Ferrari.

Mastering Seasonal Racing Events

Seasonal events comprise specific racing activities that demand adherence to certain car restrictions. While players can attempt these events with non-compliant vehicles, rewards and points are only granted for using cars that meet the specified criteria. Examples include the "Street Runner" seasonal championship (requiring a C (500) 1980s Retro Super Saloons) rewarding a DeLorean DMC-12 and 5 points, and "What's the Hatch?" (requiring a D (400) 1980s Retro Hot Hatch) rewarding a 1988 BMW M3 and 5 points. Other events like the Ito Half Mile drag meet, Deep Forest speed zone, and Nachi Falls trailblazer offer wheelspins and points for using B (600) class 1980s vehicles.

Engaging in Online Seasonal Competitions

Seasonal online challenges involve competing against other players in various online activities. "Push it to the Limit" is a Trial event where teams compete against Unbeatable Drivatars, offering the #2 Audi Sport quattro S1 and 10 points. "My Little Pony" is a Touge Showdown championship for Mustangs, rewarding a 1986 Ford F-150 and 3 points. "5 vs 1" is a Hide & Seek game, granting a 2017 Saleen S7 LM and 3 points upon completion.

Excelling in Series Events

Series event challenges require players to race against an NPC rival on a specific circuit, aiming to beat their lap time using the same car. Even a single victory against an adversary is sufficient to claim the reward. The Narai-juku Circuit monthly rivals challenge, for instance, rewards a Super Wheelspin and 4 points for posting a clean la
