Currently, Utopai has not disclosed specific details regarding the involvement of human directors, writers, or actors in the production.

Huace will be utilizing Utopai's advanced AI storytelling platform, PAI, to bring this epic series to life. While Huace handles the production, Utopai will maintain the distribution rights for the series outside of China. She emphasized the opportunity with Huace to craft a bold new interpretation, starting with Sun Wukong's emotional origins and expanding the narrative to a franchise scale. Binxing Fu, CEO of Huace Group, added that the partnership with Utopai allows them to translate this mythology into a fully AI-generated animated format, ensuring the preservation of its profound cultural depth and emotional impact for audiences worldwide.

PAI 2.0: Advancing AI's Role in Creative Production

This announcement follows Utopai's recent unveiling of PAI 2.0, the latest iteration of its generative video platform. Zijian He, Utopai's Chief Scientific Officer, highlighted that PAI 2.0 is designed to streamline the content production process by maintaining narrative consistency across extended sequences and offering creators enhanced control over their artistic vision. The goal is to catalyze a "Claude Code moment" for media generation, pushing the boundaries of AI's creative capabilities.

NBA Stars Backing AI Innovation: Carmelo Anthony and James Harden's Involvement

Utopai has garnered support from notable figures, including NBA stars Carmelo Anthony and James Harden. Anthony has invested in Utopai through his production company, Creative 7, and serves as a strategic partner. Harden has also previously utilized PAI's initial version to produce an animated short film centered around his distinctive beard, showcasing the platform's versatile applications.
